Due to theft, the stove is unfortunately missing in our overnight cabin number 23 at Gladåkern. We hope to have a new stove in place in February. 2021-12-21
We have now picked up our transport boats at the Lake Lelången for the winter. We inform on this page when the boats are in the lake again next spring.
Due to high visitor pressure this summer, the fire wood has run out in several places. We are working full time to drive firewood to all places right now. Sackwood is also available for purchase at the Infocenter in Lenungshammar.
The following windshelters/fireplaces have little fire wood at the moment: place nr 7 (where there is no wind shelter due to a fire), 13 Bränäsdalen, 25 Bergtjärn, 29 Skärvattnet, 37 Älmheds Långtjärn, 8 Östra Kalvudden, 36 Holmetjärn, 32 Mjögtvängen, 41 Sandtjärn, 44 Svarthagstjärnet och 34 Svarttjärn.

The moose hunt in the Glaskogen nature reserv begins every year on October 8 and lasts until January 31. It is mostly hunted in the beginning during the first two weeks, but then there is mainly weekend hunting during the entire period. From 18 August, there will also be deer hunting until 31 January.
Please remember to keep your four-legged friends on a leash at all times. Whether dog or other pet. And that applies all year round and in the entire Glaskogen nature reserve! Thank you for your consideration!
We don’t offer any bike rental right now but are planning for good biking experiences next year.
Both mobile coverage and internet reception are non-existent in many places in Glaskogen. It is not always possible to make calls or go online. But it is always possible to reach 112 in an emergency situation. We offer free wifi for our visitors at Infocenter, camping and café in Lenungshammar.
